Consoritum Members
Currently Columbia Basin consortium consists of one two-year college (Columbia Basin College), one skills center (Tri-Tech Skills Center) and 10 public high schools (Columbia High School, Connell High School, Hanford High School, Kamiakin High School, Kennewick High School, Kiona-Benton City High School, Pasco High School, Richland High School, River View High School, Southridge High School) in the Tri-Cities area. Four other Washington state high schools (Prosser High School, Eastmont High School and North Central Technical Skills Center in Wenatchee, Clark County Skills Center in Vancouver and Yakima Skills Center) also established articulation agreements with some of the Columbia Basin College Professional Technical Programs for dual-credit opportunity.
Administrators, high school teachers, college instructors, labor and business partners work together on course articulations to provide dual-credit opportunities to help high school students transition to college and future careers.
General Advisory Committee
The consortium's General Advisory Committee (GAC) which includes educators, administrators, labor representatives and business partners in the community meets monthly in the fall and bi-monthly in the spring to advise on the issues related to career and technical education in the consortium.
