Welcome to the Columbia Basin College Department of Nursing.  We are proud of our reputation for quality education.  Students who graduate from the CBC Nursing program consistently achieve one of the highest rates of passage of first-time candidates on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for associate degree prepared registered nurses in Washington state. CBC Nursing graduates are consistently employed after graduation and are regarded highly in the healthcare community.

Regularly scheduled Pre-Nursing Information Sessions are offered.  At these sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet with the Nursing Program Director and CBC's pre-nursing counselors.  Information is provided about required prerequisites, the application process, and how to progress through the nursing curriculum. These sessions are held monthly throughout the year. If you have any questions please call (509) 544-8309.  To view the upcoming Pre-Nursing Information Sessions, select the link below.

Pre-Nursing Information Sessions

During the Pre-Nursing Information Sessions a CBC Counselor and the Nursing Program Director will provide a presentation to the attendees.  Students need to attend at least one Pre-Nursing Information Session prior to meeting with an advisor.
