BakerStephanie Baker
Assistant Coach
Stephanie Baker was introduced as an assistant volleyball coach in June 2010. A former Hawk standout, Baker was a four-year starter at Hanford High School where she began her career as a setter. After moving to middle blocker, she earned First Team All-League in the Mid-Valley Conference her sophomore through senior seasons. As a junior and senior, Baker was named to the Tri-City Herald All-Area Team, as well as being named team MVP as a senior.

In 2002, Baker walked on at Washington State University where she remained for one year. Wanting to be closer to home, she transferred to CBC and starred for the Hawks in 2003 and 2004. After transferring to Eastern Washington University on scholarship, Baker finished in the top ten in hitting percentage in the Big Sky Conference.

As a coach, Baker has been an area club coach for the past eight years. She currently coaches with Strikeforce VBC in the Tri-Cities and is a coach at the U-16 level. She also coached two current Hawk volleyball players during their club days.

Head Coach Dan Headley says "I am really excited to bring Stephanie back to the CBC program. She brings a lot of experience that can help our athletes be successful at the college level. Her background and training will help us become a formidable opponent in the East Region."
