Description

Fundamental concepts, stoichiometry, atomic structure and chemical bonding, nomenclature, periodic table trends, reactions, oxidation-reduction, and gas laws. Problem-solving techniques stressed. Prerequisite: high school chemistry with a grade of B or better, or CHEM& 140 with a grade of 2.0 or better.
